 LaRose, Mr. Charlebois was able to expand the news­ paper’s format to include cartoons drawn by Junior George Blasiak and guest editorials by such political figures as Jerry Mingolelli.
Not merely a forum for news and events, the P&G also served as a clearinghouse for such concerns of the stu­ dent body as the discontinuation of the GSR and some Seniors’ request for a Student Lounge.
Deadlines of course, were Lomber’s greatest concern since pressure for copy increased as the year wore on. Still, this and the age-old problem of getting writers to write did not daunt the P&G Editorial Board from going to press every two months.
