The Brothers lacrosse team of 1979 was a good one. The senior-led squad, coached by Mr.
Carl Sanfilippo, turned in many outstanding performances.
Co-captains John Cigantelli and Chris Kopp led the midfield, while the well balanced attack
was comprised of leading scorer Steve Dombroski, Frank Simiele and Pat Hennigan.
At the other end, the defense was led by veteran Mark Louer, with great support coming
from newcomers Mike Spinek and Bill Kelly. Minding the nets was Joe Catania, a hustling,
steady performer.
The overall program was a success, and the future looks bright for C.B.A. Lacrosse.
