Varsity Lacrosse
The 1996 Season
The 1996 Varsity Boys' Lacrosse sea
son had its highs and lows. The team
came into the season with high expec
tations, opening with a 17-1 victory
over General Brown. The team had
many close victories but suffered two
early season defeats; one being to the
division leading Jordan Elbridge, the
other to powerhouse Lafayette in dou
ble overtime.
The high point of the season came at
home in the second game against J-E.
The inspired Brothers upset Jordan El
bridge in a very close game. The game
propelled the Brothers into sectional
play for the third year in a row.
