Swimming
Better Every Year
The 1996 Varsity Swim Team was hard-pressed
to match the success the program has seen in the
last two years. Under the guidance of head coach
Peter O'Neill and assistant coach Debra Christolini,
the Brothers posted a 3 and 9 regular season record,
with single digit losses to West Genesee, Corcoran,
and Cortland. The Brothers bounced back in the
post season placing second in sectionals, falling just
2> points short of first place. Co-captains Holly
Michalak and Molly Harrigan most certainly helped
to lead the team to success this year, but a strong
group of underclassmen hope to bring the Brothers
back to the championship years from the 1993 and
1994 seasons.
