Select Chorus Boston Tour — 1996
May 11,1996
9:00 a.m.
After waking up much much much too early, we boarded the bus and began our 6-
hour journey to Beantown. Thanks to the Mortek Movie Collection, the amateur pro­
duction of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, and a fuel stop at Burger King, though, the
6 hours flew by.
4:00 p.m.
We finally arrived in Boston with just enough time to explore our hotel rooms and
then hurry down to Quincy Market for dinner.
6:00 p.m.
With rain beginning to fall and temperatures dropping well below freezing, we began
our gr-r-r-reat performance in the middle of Quincy Market.
8:00 p.m.
We stood outside a restaurant in the pouring rain for at least 45 minutes, keeping
ourselves warm with vigorous calisthenics and befriending a local Boston bum.
9:00 p.m.
We finally escaped the monsoon and made our way to the theatre for a performance
of Shear Madness, a unique murder mystery set in a local hairdressing salon.
May 12, 1996
12:00 a.m.
We returned to the hotel, where 8 of us spent the entire night playing Mao, Charades,
Hearts, and Pitch. (Other members chose to either sleep or drink 17 cups of coffee.)
6:00 a.m.
It was time to force down a little breakfast and watch cartoons. I guess that whole
"cartoon violence" thing is true, because soon after watching a good amount of Bugs
and Daffy, we were swinging away in an all-out pillow fight.
9:00 a.m.
An early Sunday morning Mass quickly became an excerpt from The Princess Bride,
the priest having an obviously thick Boston accent.
2:00 p.m.
As we departed from the Museum of Science, we bade farewell to our great adventure

Iannolo still had the energy to
teach Will Dunn, Marc Mortek,
and former CBA student Bren­
dan H arris how to play Pitch.
.. . even though we didn't go to Cheers.
