Student Life
Summer Vacation
Students Find Plenty To Do
Finals were finished and it was time to take advantage of the sum
mer of '96. The question was — what were we going to do for the
next eight weeks? Some of us occupied our vacation time with the
ever-famous “family trip". Others kept busy by working, doing vol
unteer work, or just relaxing in the sun.
What is there to do in Syracuse, though? Many students hit the
club circuit, caught the latest movies, went to parties and friends'
houses, shopped 'till they dropped, or just hung out. By the time
they did all this, it was time for the "Great New York State Fair"!
We all know what that meant, two weeks until school started, and
the summer vacation came to a close. So there was only one thing
left to do — make the Fair our grand finale.
After taking in the sights, sounds, and good times of the summer,
most students weren't ready to go back to school. But one thing we
can all look forward to now — the summer of '97!

thought Lenny DiFino
would have dressed up

if you think about it, the
idea is not that far
fetched. (Mrs. Franz
agrees.)
