French Trip '96
Students Master the French Metro
Thirteen students and two teachers from CBA had one of the greatest
experiences of their lifetime. Last summer, for ten days in July, we
experienced some of the world's most famous landmarks, delicious
food, and the best shopping!
Our first stop was Paris, with all of its attractions — the Eiffel Tower,
the Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, the Louvre, the Seine, and the
actor Kelsey Grammer (star of the TV sitcom “Frasier")! After getting
lessons on how to ride the Metro, we became experts at seeing a lot of
Paris in a short time. We visited the famous Versailles palace and then
Tours, which has some of the greatest discotheques in France. We
walked the beaches of Normandy, where the American troops landed
during World War II.
The trip to France was a wonderful experience for the fifteen of us
