Peer Ministry at CBA was started in the Spring of 2001. Todayitisadrivingforcebehindthe spirituality found at Christian Brothers Academy. Therearefourdifferentoffices. Eachonepromotes a different aspect of Christian living: the Office of Spiritual Life, the Office of Social Justice, the Office of Christian Formation, and the Office of Community Outreach. Eachoftheofficeshas2-3leaderswho makeuptheExecutiveBoard. Therearetwo student coordinators, Garrett Barnard and Carly Getz, who oversee all of the Peer Ministers. The 70 Peer Ministers plan the school Liturgies, the prayer
services, the class retreats, educate the school community about social justice concerns, coordinate drives for various causes, and reach out
to the community to provide assistance in a variety of forms. Byinvolvingthestudentsintheseleadership roles, new ideas are constantly being offered and much energy revolves around carrying on the mission set forth by St. John Baptistpe La Salle.
