The National Honor Society was founded in 1921 in the hope of creating an organization which would recognize and encourage acadennic achievement while developing other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. These ideals are scholarship, character, service, and leadership. CBA's branch is called the LaSalle Chapter. This year NHS has worked with the entire school community to implement charitable events: a winter clothing drive, the Thanksgiving food drive, a matching grant from Hyundai to benefit the Red Cross, and the annual Red Cross Blood Drive.
