‘Basketball
Last year Coach WIeklinski wanted simply to make the playoffs with his varsity squad. They went on to win the championship in Section III, Class C-2. This year the team was even more underrated, coming into the season with five sophomores and only one re turning starter. The Brothers could be described by others as simply Terry
Satalin, but anyone close to the team knew that although Terry scored more than anyone on the team and in the league it was the other II players who contributed the rebounds, passing, tough defense and hard work in prac tice that leads to the success of any team. A definite highlight for the var sity Brothers was their great team ef fort in a 70-63 win at Nottingham on Dec. 20, a victory that ended a 9 year
18 game losing streak to the Bulldogs from across the hill.
Basketball is fun! It takes a lot of con centration and effort but the Brothers take it all in stride.
