After School Responsibilities
4 hat does one do af- I ter school? Many of us do extracurric ular activities such as a sport or club. For those that are sen iors or juniors or even perhaps sophomores, a lot of you have
school. Students such as Laura Murphy, Eric Roberge and Kris ten Johanns applied for this scholarship in January of this year. Other students will most likely apply for the scholar ships when they become sen iors. They are: Mike Pilon, To ny Lewis and Dave LaPiana. P&C and other supermarkets offer different yet somewhat simi lar scholarships. The other stu dents that do not work in su permarkets tend to mostly work in a mall setting. Sarah Vandoorn works in Shopping- town’s Bath and Body Works.

to go to your after school job.
The obvious reason we do this
is because we need money.
Perhaps we don’t all need it for
the same reason, but still, the
same general desire for spend
ing money is there. A lot of
students at CBA chose to work
at a supermarket. In the area,
students from CBA work at
Wegmans in Dewitt and in On
ondaga. There is also Sweet
Heart market in Liverpool. Jean Osta works at Bonwit Those that work in supermar
kets sometimes do it not only because of their salaries, but more often than not, these places offer scholarships to colleges. Wegmans offers a scholarship of up to 2,200 dol lars per year of undergraduate
Teller in Carousel. John Mc- Keon works in a department store in Fayetteville Mall. Ste phanie Adornato is employed at Addis and Deys. Working pays the bills so we all do it in some way or another.

Dave Ponzio found at Sweetheart Mar kets being courteous and polite to a customer as he packs his groceries.
Here we find Frank Smith at his job in Sweetheart markets. He works with the fruits and veggies.
Some students hang out with Br. Cas- mir afterschool. Could it be that John Judge and Michael Coyne have a de tention with him?
