When entering the 8th grade at CBA, one looks forward to a special event for 8th graders only. The Gettysburg trip! Now it's even easier than in past years, because the trip is in the fall and students do not have to agonize in anticipation of the
spring trip. Of course, there is

always the educational part of the trip; visiting the wax museum, the Jenny Wade House, and all of the monuments. However, for the eighth graders the trip is associated with sleepless nights, sugar highs, Adam Sandler movies, time spent with friends, and most of all.

bugging the teachers that volunteered to come along. From Mr Barnum's high tops and hat hair to Mr. Sirianni's yells for us to go to sleep, the Gettysburg trip is a memory we will always cherish and never forget.

What would a Gettysburg trip be with­ out the famous yearly group photo of the eighth grade class underneath the New York monument?
Mr. Davis, we students do not remem­ ber being that excited about the Electric Map. Even though it was not extremely exciting, it gave us a good overview of the battle fields.
