 Freetime Fact or Fiction .
What could one do during freetime? There weren’t many choices, but the following seemed to be a couple of the fa­ vorites:
1) You could have gone into the library and gotten kicked out faster than you came in.
2) You could have stayed in the academic hallway where you most likely would have gotten arrested for loitering in a “No Loitering Zone.”
3) You could also have gone to the cafeteria, which may or may not have been open, where the noise level

reached a point where it competed with the noise of a jet plane engine on takeoff. You could have sat outside on the hard steps, but this wasn’t really an option dur­
ing the winter freeze.
You could have congregated in the main hallway where, at that time there just wasn’t enough room to move.
The crew tackles the Homecoming ban­ ner. Mike Hunter is still trying to re­ member how to spell football.
John Paul Kennedy tries his best moves on Kristy Carbone, but Kristy seems a bit more interested in Religion.
Face it. Unstructured time wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. We may have been free to roam, but there really was no place to go.
