 Brothers Battle Injuries.
Sectional hopes are dashed
by late season losses.
A new coach with new ideas and a new plan ran into an
old problem; injuries. “It always seemed as if someone
was hurt,” commented first-year coach Jim Lee. Al­
though the Brothers Varsity Basketball squad finished
with a disappointing 6-11 record, there were many bright
moments for the hoopsters.
Without the use of Senior sharpshooter Bill Ferris (out
with a broken hand), the Brothers struggled to a 2-6
record during December. The hoopsters returned to form
in January, beating Fowler and Henninger. Both contests
