Jeff Jurick gives out as­ signments at Manley Field house
The powerhouses of the squad were two-milers Jeff
Jurick, Paul Kelly, and Chris Shepardson. Sprinters
Steve Coker and Darnell Sapps overwhelmed their op­
ponents while Steve Hays was ranked second for the
mile walk in Section III, Class B. Steve and Breen McMa­
hon, George Luke, and Cathal O’Connor made strong
contributions in the sprint medley and the one-mile event.
Other consistent contributors included Gerard Garrecht,
Rob Toole, and Bob Sweeney. With many fine runners
returning next season, the Brothers should once again be
hard to overtake.
