 Freshmen Woes;
Life on the Third Fioor
After the first two years at Christian Brothers Academy, it is
great to finaily make it up to the highest floor of the school.
Being on the third floor has its advantages. For example, it's
much easier to see the light of day from up here (as compared
to our years underground).
Walking on the third floor has a way of making one feel more
important. One is bound to run in to older students and teachers,
at least more often than we did in previous years.
Of course, there are disadvantages to being so high up — why
do there have to be so many stairs?! Running around the building
all day from the first floor, to the third floor, to the second, and
back again really requires a lot of energy (much more energy
than the cafeteria food is able to supply)!
Despite this, no one will be able to find any of the freshmen
complaining — to them, life on the third floor is like a breath of
fresh air!
