Monday mornings can make one feel
like going back to bed forever. Julie
Castro seems to share this thought.
Sometimes one must grin and bear
the fact that Monday does hap
pen. While Mrs. Killion demon
strates this, Brad O’Connor seems
to say, “All hail Mrs. Killion!”
“Monday Morning Sleep Deficien
cy” is a common ailment among
CBA students. Colin Johnson dem
onstrates that homeroom is a
great place to catch up on one’s
sleep.
Monday
Mornings
Each and every one of us looks fonv/ord to the weekend
which, to us, means forty-eight hours of precious freedom. Un
fortunately, that's oil the weekend is, just o few short hours. Then
comes the dreaded Monday morning,
Most of us must hit our snooze button three or four times be
fore finally getting the energy to get out of bed. The walk into
school con seem very long and loud to the ears. When the bell
rings at eight twenty-five, the chaos begins. Some of us struggle
to finish the homework that we put off till the lost minute, while
others cram for those lost minute quizzes and tests we hod for
gotten about, Others hurry not to be late for lob, While other
days tend to go by reasonably fast, Mondays seem to stretch
on for centuries.
Although Mondays may not be our most favorite day, we
hove to endure them. One thing though is for sure , . . offer our
first period class, we oil pray for the weekend,
