Watching people playing pool is not as
much fun as actually playing. Aaron
Wright keeps an eye on his friends, mak
ing sure they do not try to cheat.
Gettysburg ’95
Last May, the class of 1999 had an experience
that it will never forget. The eighth grade class took
a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
We shared a lot of good times together and did
many interesting things. We went to museums, a Civil
War battlefield,
and a
cyclorama
. . .
but the trip
was not all educational. We got to stop at a rec
reational park with games, batting cages, and a
miniature golf course. One day, Mrs. InA/in even gave
us the chance to be on our own in town. We were
able to shop, eat, and walk around without any
supervision.
This trip certainly gave us a better understanding
of the Civil War which tore our nation apart, but,
most importantly, the trip also brought our class clos
er together. Thank you, Mrs. Irwin, for a great time.
