Amnesty International
Early this year. Amnesty International brought activist Kathleen Rumpf to CBA for a candid and important talk about the U.S. prison system. As someone who has been arrested over 100 times, Ms. Rumpf is an expert on the subject. She has been jailed for demonstrating against such organizations as the notorious School of the Americas, and asked our students to think twice before making the assumption that more jails are the answer to society’s troubles.
