Diligently at work, this I group of junior high
students works to see who can fill their crust first. Agatha Wozniak, Maura Stanczyk, and Claire Bollinger join
' others in the fun of preparing delicious pies to be delivered to soup kitchens in Syracuse.
These pies are ready to bake. Laura DeMar, Bob Waters, and Andrew Julian make sure there are the needed air vents in the crust to ensure proper baking. The annual fall pie baking is a tradition of the LaSallian Youth group. Every week, though, groups of LaSailians take a couple of hours
after school to serve those less fortunate than they - as the ministry work of this organization goes on year-round, not just during apple season.
Kelly Smith and Rick McKeon demonstrate how LaSallian Youth brings together young and old. The 7th grader and the senior work side by side to peel apples.
