The Brothers saw a new dimension to their sports program this year when Paul Dober initiat­ ed the first Varsity Bowling Team at CBA. Assum­ ing the role as Team Captain, Paul then took up the task of rounding up a team under the supervi­ sion of Team Coach Brother Mark. This pioneer bowling team consisted of a six man squad includ­ ing Tom Croston, Steve Cywilko, Paul Dober, Paul Naughton, Alan Powers, and Michael Smith. Being CBA’s first year in the bowling scene we have not as of yet accomplished creating a strong and con­ sistent team. However, there have been impres­ sive showings by Steve Cywilko with a high of 206, Tom Croston with a high of 234, and Mike
Smith who not only hit a 234 but was also ranked in the top ten averages after the first week. Hope­ fully these highs will be broken as the Brothers Bowling Team develops into one of the finest in the league.
