This year’s varsity wrestling team, due to sm all numbers, combined with an­ other sm all school, Jamesville-Dewitt. Though the numbers were small the team had drive and spirit. Exciting matches occured against southern
strength Tully; followed by a victory over northern powerhouse Altmar- Parish-Williamstown. The team ended the season with a disappointing re­
cord, partly due to being placed in a tough league with state powers Fulton and Central Square. Strong perfor­ mances were shown by junior Scott Parsons and sophomore Todd Lewis. Led by first-year coach Scott Bentley and captain Eric Baca, the team looks forward to strong showings in the fu­ ture.
