A ROYAL CONNECTION A KING’S LOVE
Since when did we forget that the object of love is to enjoy the momentum of one another? Since when did we completely forget about that KING and QUEEN love we only learned about in fairytales growing up? While society has transitioned into a more practical and business approach to dating, relationships, and marriage there are a core group of people who remain faithful to their beliefs in the knight in shining armor, and happily ever after soul-mate-wait for who they want and feel they deserve in a significant other.
Notwithstanding, how could one ever expect to achieve such bliss when the reasons for wanting that KING or QUEEN are all wrong in the first place? I can’t remember when the damsel in distress mindset and portrayal actually replaced the notion that royalty marries royalty, continues to maintain a certain standard and status of excellence, and invests greatly in the family’s legacy and promise. Where is that sense of pride gone? Surely men are aware that they are Kings not only deserving of Queens, but should consider nothing less under any circumstances. On the other side of that coin is the unfortunate tailgate of a generation of Queens who have not only stepped down from their positions of greatness, they’ve completely abandoned their throne and all of the responsibilities that come along with... it is no wonder there is confusion in the world of dating and the minds of those who have lost their way and convinced themselves that less is the best they can do.
