Prohibited Area # 1 - Any Place of Nuisance
F.S. 790.06 (12)(a) 1. Any place of nuisance
A place of nuisance is defined, F.S. 823.05, as a place where gang members are actively participating in criminal activity. I know this definition can be a little confusing. An easier way to think about it is a place where you know you shouldn’t be. If you know someone who is dealing drugs, should you hang out with this person? No, of course not. A place of nuisance is also defined as a massage parlor engaged in illicit activity. So, if your massage parlor is offering a little more than a massage, you shouldn’t have a firearm there.
Prohibited Area # 2 thru 8 - These Should be Common Sense
F.S. 790.06 (12)(a)
2. Any police, sheriff or highway patrol station
3. Any detention facility, prison or jail
4. Any courthouse
5. Any courtroom
6. Any polling place
7. Any meeting of the governing body of a county, public school district, municipality or special district
8. Any meeting of the Legislature or a committee thereof
Two through eight should be common sense, but unfortunately, common sense doesn’t seem to be common anymore.

F.S 790.06 (12)(a) 9. Any school, college or professional athletic event not related to firearms;

In my opinion, this does not prohibit me from carrying at my children's soccer games because the games and league are not associated
