Idriss Noor
Idris Noor is the Curriculum Support Officer – Kwa Vonza Zone, Lower Yatta Sub-county, Kitui
County. Idris has vast experience in education. As an educational officer, he is passionate about
the competence-based curriculum and assists teachers in the effective implementation of the
CBC/CBA. He is able to assist teachers in developing portfolio, rubrics, and assessment tools for
all the active activities undertaken in grades 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Idris Noor offers exceptional insights on the various teaching and learning materials that teachers need in
implementing the CBC in grades, 1, 2, 3, and 4. He is also a trainer on the pedagogy and can share the
appropriate teaching methods required for CBC and 8:4:4. He can guide on the development of
low-cost-no-cost learning aids
Phanuel Ondele
Phanuel is graduate of the University of Nairobi, a teacher by profession. He has vast experience in online
research and use of ICT in teaching and learning. Prior to joining Excellent Student as the founder and director,
he has taught in various top schools including Busara forest View academy in Nyahururu.
He also worked at Junior-Achievement Kenya as a team leader for mentors in the high schools Company Program.
Phanuel is a licensed reseller of Jumpstart programs and uses his experience to train teachers on how to use simple ICT
skills to build effective and interactive play programs for learners.
Florence Akinyi
Florence is graduate of the University of Nairobi, a first class honors in Early Childhood Education. She is the national
director of SAM Africa International. An organization that builds capacity in university students to identify and solve local
challenges affecting the society in various levels.
Florence is also the immediate project director of Lavington United Church’s Children and Youth Development program, which
focuses on teaching and inspiring children in the community, releasing them from poverty. Florence has vast experience in matters
children, learning, growth and development. She is an ardent advocate of children’s rights including access to quality education and
care.
Bernice Ngui Tabitha Kyama
Bernice is an ICT/CBC Champion. Bernice Tabitha is a graduate of Kenyatta University. She is a trained
