Rear Commodore Reports
Rear Commodore Yearbook – Teresa Coronado
Teresa was unable to attend. Fleets were encouraged to get their

reports in by March 1 .
Rear Commodore Newsletter – Jane Heron and Anna Gorbold
Jane reviewed her report. The newsletter continues to be produced
three times a year: Winter/Spring, Summer and Fall. Jane will be
resigning the post of Newsletter Editor after the Winter/Spring issue.
Rear Commodore Webmaster - Vic Roberts
Vic reviewed his report. Visits to the website slightly increased in 2022
versus 2021 but down from 2020 during the COVID pandemic. The
website forums continue to be active though down from 2021. There
was discussion on making all members of the ECA also members of the
forums so they can post forum messages.
Rear Commodore Boat Listing – Mike LaHaye
Mike reviewed the Boat List report. Nineteen boats sold through the boat
listing service. The median price increased to $9,950 in 2022 from
$6,000 in 2021.
Rear Commodore Membership – Marsha LaHaye
Marsha reviewed the membership report. 528 members in 2022 down
from 548 in 2021. Marsha responded to 43 people who had expressed
interest in the ECA via the website and sent 65 letters to people who did
not rejoin in 2022 to encourage membership.
Rear Commodore Ship’s Store – Lythia Metzmeier
Lythia reviewed the Ship’s Store report. $2,796 in sales against costs of
inventory, shipping and services of $1,113 – net positive $1,683. There
was a discussion of the high cost of shipping and how to offset.
Committee Reports
Ensigns Forever- Eric Jones and Technical – Zeke Durica
Eric provided an update of the effort to develop a list of Ensign
Restoration companies. The list is now posted to the Class website
under documents and is continuing to be updated as more restoration
companies are identified and vetted.
Hall of Fame – Zeke Durica
Zeke reported the awards for 2022. Richard Crisler was nominated by
Miami Fleet 8 and inducted into the Ensign Hall of Fame for “Teaching
