Objectives:
1. Discuss effectively the strengths and weaknesses, as well as the
advantages and disadvantages of different approaches to grammar
teaching;
2. Identify common misconceptions on the teaching of grammar;
3. Listen carefully and purposively to discussions on the issues related to the
teaching of grammar;
4. Make use of the approaches in teaching grammar presented in formulating
an effective learning plan.
