Security

Data in Transit
Depending on the transmission mechanism data is encrypted
in transit and at rest using mechnisms such as SSL encryption
(HTTPS); SSL encryption (SFTP) or Microsoft SharePoint
security controls.

Fort Knox Security
We use the Principle of Least Privilege regarding access to
data. We keep an auditable record of who has amended data.
Users are required to change their passwords every 90 days.

Global Servers
Our cloud-based servers are hosted in European data centres
ensuring the utmost security and protection.

State of the art firewalls
We have Checkpoint firewalls in place with all ports blocked
by default. Ports are only opened when required to support
business functions. Where possible, source and destination
IPs are restricted. We have 24/7 monitoring of the IPS logs on
our firewalls.

ISO & GDPR Compliant
We were the first VAT reclaim company to become ISO
Compliant. VAT IT is ISO 27001:13 certified and ISO 9001:2015
Compliant. This means we abide by the International Standards
organisation’s policies of compliance.
