cards to arrange rhythm patterns before reading and
                                             playing patterns on sticks.

During a study of Air and Weather, Cannons
Elementary School students in Tracy Herring’s second
grade class created parachutes to experiment with air.

Second grade students at Cannons Elementary School
used Play-Doh to represent place value.

Third graders at Cannons Elementary School are ringing the
bell when they meet their goals and remembering the power
       of “yet.”

                                                                       Middle School of Pacolet

Working together to create a list of detailed observations,
Middle School of Pacolet’s English 1 students took a
walk on the nature trail. They are going to compare their
observations to the aftermath of the impending weather,
as well as the weather in The Odyssey.
