Pam Wilhelm’s health science class is learning
about infection control and hand-washing.
Using a glow germ light, students are able to
visualize their contaminated hands before
washing. After washing, hands were checked
with the light to determine if their hand-washing
was effective in removing germs. Daniel Morgan Technology Center
Daniel Morgan Technology Center
student, A'keriya Valentine, is shown
inspecting a flyer she and Amber Lyons
designed using the Adobe Creative Suite.
They also printed the flyer using a single
color offset press.
Cory Pucetas from Tindall Corporation
spoke to David Hoppes’ Welding I and II
students at Daniel Morgan Technology
Center about career opportunities in
welding. Cory was a welding completer
in 2007 and has worked as a welder at
Tindall since he graduated from Broome
High School. He is now in management
and is a certified welding inspector. He is
responsible for 80 welders and projects in
the southeast US. We are very proud of
Cory’s accomplishments and that his
welding career started at DMTC.
