Come for the skills......... Stay for the challenge!
STEM/Architecture and Construction/Arts, AV Technology,
and Communications
The graphics engineering design experience opens up doors
for students in STEM careers in architectural, industrial, and civil
engineering fields as well as introduce them to additive process
(3D printing) and manufacturing process planning. Focusing on
architecture and mechanical design, students will prepare for
actual work situations through practical training using design
software. Engineering graphics technicians translate ideas from
design layouts, specifications, rough sketches, and calculations of
engineers and architects into detailed technical drawings or plans
for machinery, buildings, infrastructure, electronics, maps, and
illustrations, which are used in the construction of a product.
