Cowpens  Elementary  School  second
     graders decorated pumpkins as characters
     from  their  favorite  books.   They  then  put
     them  on  display  in  the  media  center  to
     encourage other students to read.















                                                      Austin  Hardy,  Christopher  Scruggs  and  Ni’Zejuan
                                                      Harris,  Cowpens  Elementary  School  ATLAS
                                                      students,  qualified  for  the  Problem  Solving  Hall  of
                                                      Fame.   Each  student  completed  seven  difficult
                                                      equations to reach a new level and earn their place
                                                      in the elite group.













     Cowpens Elementary School held its first
     Behavior  Celebration  of  the  school
     year.   Students  were  invited  to  attend
     based on the number of cougar coins or
     dojos they earned.




      Cowpens Middle School



                                                                                  Duke Energy sponsored an
                                                                                  interactive  performance  for
                                                                                  Cowpens  Middle  School
                                                                                  sixth  graders  to  help  them
                                                                                  understand        more      about
                                                                                  energy. The program tied in
                                                                                  perfectly  with  the  sixth
                                                                                  grade        state       science
                                                                                  standards!
