THINGS TO DO IN
BOERNE
A treasure nestled in the magnificent setting of the Texas Hill Country, Boerne (pronounced “Bur-nee”) is
only minutes north of San Antonio, via Interstate 10. With year-round parades, festivals and cultural events
to fill the air with music and merriment—the Kendall County Fair, Chocolate Walk, Parade of Artists, Berges
Fest, Dickens on Main, Boerne Market Days and the Key to the Hills Rod Run—people come from near
and far to sample the activities of this cultured town. A visit to Boerne is not complete without a taste of the
unique cuisine, ranging from Texas barbeque and homestyle cooking to fine dining. See below for a brief list
of Boerne’s top attractions.
BOERNE MARKET DAYS
Boerne Market Days is located in the heart
of the historical district on Main Plaza.
The market has become synonymous with
great shopping in an outdoor setting with
artists, craftsmen and vendors sharing
their creative talents and wares to the
background music of some of Texas’ best
homegrown musicians.
FARMERS MARKET AT THE CIBOLO
The mission of the Farmers Market at the
Cibolo is to provide area residents the
opportunity to buy Hill Country grown
and produced products and support
local farmers and specialty vendors. If it’s
homemade, handmade or fresh and tasty,
you can get it at the Farmers Market at the
Cibolo.
