San Antonio is a popular city to visit in Texas. Major events include April’s Fiesta San
Antonio, 10 days and nights of cultural celebration with street and river parades; the
annual San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in February; the Texas Folklife Festival in
June; and decorating the San Antonio River Walk during the Christmas season.
SAN ANTONIO MUSEUM OF ART
The San Antonio Museum of Art houses
the largest and most comprehensive
collection of ancient Egyptian, Greek
and Roman, as well as Asian, art in the
southern United States.
MAJESTIC THEATRE
This wonderful theatre has been named
a state and national historic landmark.
It is one of the few remaining vintage,
atmospheric vaudeville movie palaces.

PREFORMING ARTS
The Tobin Center is a state-of-the-art
multi-purpose 1,750-seat performance
hall, a 250-seat studio theater and an
outdoor performance plaza connected
to the River Walk with a water taxi portal.
