Prayer of Repentance

For breaking the covenant of grace,

Holy Father Abba, in the name of your only Son Jesus, who is

my savior and king. By his blood I come before you and your

throne of grace and mercy. Forgive me and my house. As for me

and my house we will serve the Lord. As Moses and the children

of Israel were oppressed by Pharaoh and Nehemiah was

oppressed by Sandballat, we are oppressed, dear God our backs

are against the Red Sea. Send forth the wind of the Holy Spirit

to blow a path of grace through the sea of law that we might

walk through on dry land, for grace can make a way. Show no

mercy O God, on the Prince of darkness; expose him in all his

works of iniquity. Let the sea of law overcome him to destroy

his work against the Children of Jesus. Let these who pervert

government be confounded. Let their schemes be turned upon

them. Let them fall in their own trap and be exposed as children

of darkness. Strengthen your Church; let no fear of things about

them be in their hearts. Give them faces like flint and feet like

hinds feet that they cannot be moved and cannot fall. Lord,

before we call, answer us and while we are yet speaking hear,

for the enemy moves quickly as a striking serpent. Give us

power to tread upon him and to take him up. Deliver him into

our hands. Cause him to replace what he has stolen and turn

over all the good of his house, even unto seven times it’s worth.

Let us no longer be persecuted by him but let us now pursue him
