asked to receive a double portion anointing when he was

appointed to take Elijah's place. Elijah like Jesus went up into

heaven and sent back his mantle to Elisha who upon receiving it

got the double portion. His anointing was all the way to the

bone. Not only did he do double the miracles of Elijah, his last

miracle was raising a man from the dead after he himself was

dead and dry bones. When the man's dead body touched the dry

bones of Elisha he resurrected and ran back home. Jesus said the

Things that I do you will do and greater things because I go to

the Father. He sent us that double portion mantel on the day of
Pentecost in the form of the Holy Spirit. We receive both the

Father and the son. A double portion of power. Acts 1:8 but ye

shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:

and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all

Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne

and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a

Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes,

which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the

earth. The Double portion anointing is a seven fold anointing

seven attributes he received of his father to send into his body in

the earth. Revelation 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is

the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and

wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. John

16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that

I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come
