The bad boy, feel good, rock-n-roll Florida musical!

If ever there was a musical that will make Floridians fall out of
their seats in hysterics, cheer for the bad girl and fall in love with
a zany cast of characters, it’s The Great American Trailer Park
Musical! In March 2018, TheatreWorks Florida is beyond thrilled
to revive their award-winning production of GATPM that swept
the Orlando Fringe Festival awards in 2010.
At Armadillo Acres, N. Florida’s most exclusive manufactured
housing community, what could possibly go wrong when Pippi,
the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil-loving,
agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband,
        Norbert? Absolutely everything!
Scott A. Cook, Artistic Producer/Director says, “From the moment
I heard the outrageous and electrifying score in 2005 I was
hooked. Every song is full of surprises, as the music slips across
the dial of American radio from country to blues to rock to
disco to bump and grind and R&B. The show is an all-out, fun
loving comic assault on the American red-neck, dealing with
spray cheese, road kill, hysterical pregnancy and other problems
indigenous to life in a "mobile home community", but it is the
colorful characters and lasting friendships that are the heart of
        this scandalous musical comedy."

Heather Lynn-Mendoza returns to GATPM to revive her role
as Betty, the brassy leasing manager of Armadillo Acres, after
winning “Best Actress in A Musical” in the original production at
the 2010 Orlando Fringe Festival. Heather says, “In 2010, I decided
"The Great American Trailer Park Musical" Photos
