You need: labelled, uncalibrated containers;
assorted calibrated containers; funnel; water
o Decide who is Player A and who is Player B.
o Pick an uncalibrated container and write its letter on the table.
o Both separately estimate its capacity in millilitres and write the
estimates in the correct columns.
o Together measure the capacity of
the container using an appropriate
calibrated container and write its
capacity.
o Write the name of the person
whose estimate was better.
o Repeat with the other
containers.
