Remainders A game for two players
You need: 25 counters; dice (1- 6); 7 small cards numbered 6 -12
o Shuffle the cards and place them face down.
o Decide who goes first, then take turns to follow the next 4 rules.
o Turn over the top card and take that number of counters.
o Throw the dice to find out what number to group
your counters in.
o Record what you did as a division at the bottom of the page.
If, for example, you have 11 counters and you group in 4s,

o Put the card back at the bottom of the pile.
DAfter 8 goes each, total your remainders.
The player with the higher total wins.
