Essay

Two important festivities in the United States are Halloween and Thanksgiving Day.

They are different from each other, but they have an important role in the American

culture, because these festivities I have an important meaning for them.

Each year Halloween is celebrated on October 31st. This is one of the funniest

festivity for American people because they can wear funny or scary costumes. While they
are dressed up, they used to go to parties or the most common thing is to ask people for

candies in each house. But, there was a time where Halloween was a dangerous festivity,
because people used to commit vandalism instead of celebrate Halloween in a good way.

On the other hand, American people have another festivity which is cam and
enjoyable. Thanksgiving Day is celebrated on November 4th. This festivity is a time

where American people celebrate with their families and friends by making a dinner. The
most important ingredient is the turkey and some other things like potatoes, apples, etc.

American people consider this festivity as a time to give thanks for everything that they

                  have.

Both, Halloween and Thanksgiving Day have an important thing in common and
it is to join people. Americans celebrate it in their own way like decorating their houses

on Halloween or spending time with their relatives on Thanksgiving Day.

In conclusion, Halloween and Thanksgiving Day are two of the most celebrated
festivities for American people, and these festivities were also adopted by many other

                  countries around the world.
