Incredible Shrinking Mini Golf Adventure:
Hole 1
Science Lab Ramp: When shot up the ramp, the ball could trigger
the following sequence of events to simulate starting the shrinking machine:
• Automatic Door Opener (’Shrinking Machine’ door opens)
• Flashing lights above door
• Audio file
Also the screens could have video monitors with looping animations
of scienc-y looking stuff.
Shrinking Machine: As the player approaches the exit of the
hallway, an audio file of the ‘scientist’s voice saying something like ‘I can
see you! Make your way across the yard to the un-shrink-o-matic to return
to your original size. Be careful of the bees!’
Magnifying Glass Prop: The glass of the magnifying glass could
be a screen with video of a closeup of the scientist’s blinking eye could be
back-projected. This would appear to be the source of the voice of the
scientist.
Hole 9
Final Hole Lockbox Ramp: The ball going down the drain could
trigger the following sequence of events to simulate being un-shrunk:
• Flashing lights from the ‘un-shrink-o-matic’ device
• Quick shot of fog
• Audio file
Racing Themed Mini Golf:
Hole 3
Starting Line Arch: When the player approaches the arch, a
motion sensor could trigger the following sequence of events:
• Flashing sequence in the traffic lights
• Audio file (Gentlemen, start your engines, with roar of a huge
crowd and revving engines)
Hole 9
Final hole Lockbox Ramp: Regardless of which hole in the skee
ball game the ball goes into, a sensor could trigger the following sequence
of events to simulate a burn-out:
• A shot of fog from the exhaust pipes, and from behind the back
wheels
• Audio file of a car doing a burn-out. There could also be a random
playlist of different phrases from an announcer.
