Kate joined Splice in 2013. The past four years has seen the company double in size, both in staff and
capacity with Kate overseeing and managing day-to-day operations. She was recently named an ambassador of Albert (BAFTA’s sustainability scheme for the screen arts industry) in recognition of her efforts to reduce the company’s carbon footprint; Splice run on 100% renewable energy, are plastic-free and almost entirely paperless. Kate is also a mentor outside of Splice through Create Jobs’ ‘Meet a Mentor’ scheme, set up to increase diversity within the creative industries.
Leila Monks
Co-Founder, Antidote Productions
Leila founded Antidote Productions
in 2015 with business partner, Laura Jones. Their credits
include Professor Green: Suicide and Me and Olly Alexander: Growing up Gay (BBC Three). Most recently, Antidote have delivered 4K wildlife series Mysteries of the Mekong (Blue Ant/Smithsonian), which will be distributed internationally on Love Nature, a global VOD platform. Leila has a track record in originating ideas for commission and executive producing high-quality programming.

Claire Whalley

Having started outasa
journalist and photographer, living and working in Japan, Claire has worked
for the last 20 years in television broadcast as a director, producer and executive producer. In 2009, she founded What Larks! Productions producing high quality arts, history and social documentaries and most recently scripted, including Channel 4’s Damned (Series 1 & 2) starring Jo Brand, The Reluctant Landlord with Romesh Ranganathan (Sky 1) and Brilliant Man (Sky Arts).
Nic Knowland BSC
Director of Photography
Nic is a BAFTA award winning cinematographer and governor of the British Soci- ety of Cinema- tographers. He
came into the  lm industry through still photography in the early 60’s and quickly became a much sought after documentary cinematographer, working on BBC’s Horizon. He then began shooting iconic promos like Imagine (John Lennon) and Rio (Duran Duran), and  nally moving into feature  lms, most recently on England Is Mine (Mark Gill / Essoldo Pictures / Hanway Films).
Adam Dolniak
Head of Picture, Splice Post
Adam began
his career in Soho before moving east to Splice in 2007, developing his skills in the online
department as editor and compositor before focusing on grading. He’s an intuitive colourist who is comfortable working on a wide range of genres from high-end commercials to feature  lms and documentaries. Recent credits include: My Name is Lenny (Ron Scalpello / Salon Pictures), award-winning comedy Plebs (ITV2
/ Rise Films) and Volatile Earth (Channel 4 / Blink Films).
