ProFi-Clean 90 – Filter and de-dusting system

ProFi-Clean 90, standard execution

The ProFi-Clean 90 is a compact de-dusting and filtering device with an
automatic pneumatic blow-back system. It allows the filtering and separation
of powder particles in the extracted air. The de-dusting filter is cleaned
automatically by pressure impulses. This guarantees that the whole cartridge
surface area remains clog-free and the powder is blown-back into the
product. The pneumatic control system is built on the filter housing (ie : the
unit works completely independently). Offering a unique and compact
construction, the stand-alone de-dusting filter is easily integrated in existing
and new process plants.

The basic system consists of a filter housing and pneumatic controls,
installed in a stainless steel housing. The exhaust air is filtered through a
cartridge (pos. 5 - the cartridge is not included in the base price). To keep
the filter surface from becoming packed with product, a pneumatic, time-
controlled pressure stream is blown (ie: reverse pulse) through the filter
cartridge. This guarantees that the filter surface (pos. 5) remains unclogged
and that no overpressure is generated.

As the filter system is modular, it can also be used on other installations. The
connection is made by means of a Tri-Clamp flange.
