LATERALS - 30 degree branch laterals are standard. Available in aluminum and 316L stainless steel,
branch laterals are used to provide multiple takeoff points from a common convey line. These are
also used as standard components of pinch valve diverter assemblies.

Aluminum lateral’s are for use with vacuum line’s. The 30 degree lateral’s will not be fabricated for use
with vacuum lines unless pre-approved by engineering management.
The stainless steel 30 degree lateral’s are considered the “VAC-U-MAX” standard for use with convey
line’s, unless the application specifically requires a 45 degree lateral.
