ICS designs and manufactures DFB technology for removal of airborne contaminants.
These are used for ergonomic access for processing operations that can take place
outside of a totally isolated environment. These booths are standard and custom sizes
depending on the application and the location, a “turn key” booth can be used. These
units operate on the principle of sweeping air from the breathing zone of an operator,
using a low wall exhaust while using a sweep of HEPA filtered air from the ceiling to the
floor area. ICS can provide these with Bagin/Bagout HEPA filters, redundant HEPA
filters or with prefilters sections. The purpose is to have a totally self-contained booth
which use air from the room, exhaust in the room or exhaust solvents with a bleed off or
100% exhaust. Other features are XP booths for heavy powder processing and high
solvent generation. This encompasses the lights and blowers on the units as the other
electrical components are located remote of the inner area of the booth. Electrical
outlets are also XP and pass through the rear wall to a non classified area.
