ICS – Lyo Transfer Cart

Particle counter: Many customers use a particle counter as an additional monitor device to
insure the integrity of the product.

Materials:
316L stainless steel product contact and exposed surfaces. The shell is 11 gauge thickness.
Gasket material is silicone.
One set of HEPA filters is included.
The dual access doors include polycarbonate (Lexan) windows.

Finishes:
Product Contact – 150-180 grit or better with welds ground smooth, flush and blended to match.
Exposed – 150-180 grit or better with welds ground smooth, flush and blended to same finish.
Non-product contact sheet metal – 150-180 grit or better with welds as laid and strip buffed.
Non-product contact plate and tubing – 150-180 grit or better with welds as laid and strip buffed.

cGMP:
The lyo transfer cart is designed and fabricated in accordance with current Good Manufacturing
Practices (cGMP) established by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA CFR
Title 21, parts 210 and 211) and general practices adopted by the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and
Nutraceutical industries.

Passivation:
The product contact surfaces are chemically passivated to remove ferrous deposits and other
parent material impurities.

Regulatory Codes and Standards:
ICS equipment conforms to all applicable sections of the latest edition of the following codes
and standards in effect at the date of order.

and known proposed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) cGMP/FDA – Current Good
