Message from SU President
“A joy that’s shared is the joy made double”
The SU Magazine is a platform for students to share
their experiences and ideas, which could help the
reader to perceive or get knowledge about the latter’s
contribution. An articulation of thoughts also helps the
writer to follow up that matter more passionately. The
Student Union Academics Committee had exactly the
Raunak Chandra Thapa same idea – of helping students get more passionate
SU President|August 2016 about their ideas or experiences and share it with the
readers, who would also benefit from it. The students
got to spill their ideas or opinions about other
countries, which definitely had them do some sort of
research. Other contributions helped in showing a side
of the writer and hopefully motivated them to do more
of these thing that would help them communicate.
SU Magazine aims to strengthen this bond we have
by going through a writer’s cultural and national
experiences, which would help us to understand other
cultures and nations and make ourselves a Global
Citizen, a citizen who respects, understands and is able
to live with the different cultures we have around the
world at any time of their career or life. Signing off, I’d
like to thank all the contributors who cut out time &
resources to contribute to this effort of the Student
Union. I cannot end without thanking SU Academics
Committee, Editor and her brilliant team who worked
throughout the semester and invested their time for
the Magazine.
