About the Artist Yudi Marton

Born in 1954, artistically gifted since his early youth.

After military service in the Artillery Corps, he began in 1975 to study painting instruction at the Oranim

Seminary.

In 1977, he began working for Intel as the operator of the first graphics system in Israel and completed his work

at the company after thirty years as a senior CAD/CAM engineer.

Throughout his years in Intel, in parallel with his work, he also engaged in artistic creation, such as designing

congratulatory plaques for the project participants in the company.

In 1984 he participated in a global computer painting competition at Hurst Gallery in New York and placed

third .

In 1985, he presented at the Tel Aviv Exhibition Center the first personal exhibition in Israel of a work on

Commodore's Amiga computer.

In 1990, he represented Intel at a global multimedia conference in Bratislava, Slovakia.

During the 1990s he created computer art in Photoshop, and in the beginning of 2000 he presented a personal

exhibition of computer paintings "Plastic 2000" in the gallery in Hod HaCarmel. The highly acclaimed exhibition

has traveled and been displayed in the Intel lobby and other galleries in the northern region.

After retiring from Intel he continued to create in a variety of media.

He created for approximately ten years in the print workshop at the Artists' House in Tel Aviv and began his

activity in the "Israeli Illustrators Association".

In 2008, he presented a personal exhibition of pen drawings and sculptures "Pen Time" at the gallery in Bat

Shlomo.

In 2009 he presented another solo exhibition, "Pleasure in Multimedia" at the Artists' House in Tel Aviv.

Over the years, he has presented over 70 group and individual exhibitions in Israel and around the world.

Since 2016, he has served as chairman of the Israeli Illustrators' Association. In this context, he has initiated and

curated many exhibitions of illustrators throughout the country.                                           5
