Chairman’s Message
I’ll keep this month’s remarks brief. Since the last newsletter was delivered, several
Chairman’s Message members volunteered to assist with our various committees. I want to thank those of
you who got involved and let everyone else know that we can still use additional help
if you’re willing to become just a little more active within PPIAC.
President’s Message
To experience one of the tangible results of our work on your behalf, please plan to
join us for the Colorado Investigative Development Institute at the end of this month.
The two-day course is being offered as a benefit to all PPIAC members at no cost. I
VP of Training Update
encourage you to attend at least one or two classes of interest. Since the live
sessions are being streamed on Zoom, you can use your phone to participate if
you’re not in a position to attend by computer.
VP of Membership
Update Finally, I encourage everyone to resist pandemic fatigue and continue taking steps to
protect themselves and those with whom they interact. A long-time surveillance
investigator in my area died from COVID-19 on February 10th. Although not a PPIAC
VP of Legislation Update member, I mention him because he makes the fourth person I know to get sick
enough to require hospitalization, and the third to die from the virus. Please be
careful out there.
