Preparation

• Full tank of gas prior to starting every day of surveillance

• Clean windows prior to starting surveillance

• Be sure the time on all cameras are synchronized

• For multi investigator surveillance this is extremely important

• SCHEDULE ONLY ONE CASE PER DAY

Surveillance position

• Considerations to determine the best starting surveillance position:
• A) Layout of neighborhood
• B) Objective of the surveillance:

• Serve papers on a subject

• Observe somebody at the residence without following anybody
• Short term surveillance such as determining a place of employment

• Long term and continuous or periodic surveillance
